Horary Chart taken from “Christian Astrology” by William Lilly - 1647

The horary question and horary astrology

Horary astrology is the branch of astrology which deals with questions and interrogations. How horary astrology works is that the enquirer formulates the question to the astrologer and the astrologer creates an astrological chart for the time the question was asked (in person, received per email, message or letter for example and fully understood by the practitioner). With that in mind, we could think of a horary question as the study of the chart of the birth of that question. The method I study and apply for such analysis is based on the astrological approach established by William Lilly, one of the most renowned English astrologers of the 17th century, which draws on the ptolemaic and medieval arabic astrological traditions.

Questions can be the most diverse and cover the most varied topics:

  • Love and relationships: “Does he or she (they) love me?", "Does he or she (they) have someone else?", "Is he or she (they) cheating on me?", "Are we going to get married?", "Are we going to break up?", "Is it over?", as a few examples

  • Interpersonal relationships (e.g. between friends, relatives, siblings, children, work colleagues): “I had an argument with my best friend. We are no longer on speaking terms. Will we make peace?”, “ I just started working with a new team member. Will we get along?”

  • Interrogations about work, career, studies: "I have applied for a new job, will I get it?", "Will I get the promotion and salary expectations I have requested?", “Is this the right candidate for this job?”, “Will I be satisfied in my new job?”, “Will I get along with my new boss?”, “Will I pass my last exam at uni?”

  • The outcome of legal procedures: “Will I win in the trial against my opponent?”, “What will be the judge's verdict?” – please note that for these sort of questions, I am no legal advisor and I won’t give any legal counselling. You will need to consult a professional for that

  • Other questions may also be related to sales and purchases, for example about real estate: "I am looking for a house, will I find it?", "I want to sell a property, will I find a buyer? Within how long?", "I have found a house I would like to buy. Is the house in good condition? Is the price adequate or too expensive?”, “Will I be able to negotiate with the seller?”

  • Lost objects, pets and property: “Where have I lost my keys, my phone?”. “Has it been stolen?”, “ “My cat has gone missing. Will he/she come back?”

  • Financial situations, to name a few other possible cases

Please note that at this point I don’t take any question about health matters or questions about third parties.

The more detailed and precise the question, the more it will be possible to deduce the correct answer. In this sense, I will need as much information as possible about the context of the question from you to get to the essence of the matter.

The consultation takes place online. You can send me your question per message or per email. Once I understand the question, I will give you my written assessment. In case clarifications are needed, we can discuss that further by phone or videocall.
